Grasslands Convening
Co-PIs Dr. Peter Roopnarine (curator of Paleontology and Geology) and Dr. Jack Dumbacher (Curator of Ornithology and Mammology) and post-doc Dr. Rebecca Wilcox attended the a convening on Grasslands hosted by the California Academy of Sciences on December 8-9, 2022. Convening attendees shared perspectives on grasslands and the Metrics of Wildlife Resilience team included their developing perspectives on biodiversity and resilience based on the Metrics work and fieldwork in Sierra Nevada forests.
